Once again, South Side has been lucky enough to have a student awarded a Global Travel Scholarship for the Experiment in International Living. Students are nominated by their schools and selected by the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh after a rigorous written application and interview process. Cassidy Luketic was selected to travel all expenses paid to Germany over the summer. This program is centered around international relations and the European Union and will involve a home stay. This is extra prestigious because this scholarship is for a higher amount than the other scholarships the World Affairs Council is offering as the program lasts longer than the other programs (July 1st to July 27) and is in total a 7500 dollar value.
