Homecoming Spirit Week - Welcome to the Jungle!
Congratulations to our 2026 Homecoming Court Representatives! Queen candidates are Natalie Jellison, Kate Miller, Ava Kelly, Caroline Wnoroski, and Brooke Floyd. King candidates are Caden Cusato, Julian Gouza, Jacob Ziegler, Nate Bombiani, and Cash Bradley. The king and queen will be crowned at halftime during next Friday's football game. The South Side Area HS Marching Band kicked off their competitive season on Saturday, September 19th at the Mt. Lebanon PIMBA show. The band placed first in Class 1A with a score of 69.275 and took home caption awards for Outstanding Music Performance and Outstanding General Effect. Congratulations!!!!
The band has two more competitions this season: October 17th at McKeesport and October 25th at Gateway. Good luck, band!

Vision to Learn's convenient mobile clinic provides a comprehensive 15-20 minute eye exam conducted by a licensed optometrist, all without the need for dilation. If an eye exam reveals that your child needs glasses, they can select their frames on-site, and prescription glasses will be mailed directly to your home, free of charge. Appointments are required, so don't miss this opportunity to ensure your child has the clear vision they need to succeed in school and beyond.
