The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) is responsible for ensuring that all special education programs in schools are appropriate, compliant, and effective. To do this, school districts must submit a Special Education Plan every 3 years to PDE as required under 22 PA Code 14.104.  Per this process, the school district must complete a 28 day public inspection and comment period as required under 22 PA Code § 4.13 (d) prior to the school entity’s governing board approval and submission to the Department of Education (Bureau of Special Education).  Comments or questions may be directed to the district at 724-573-9581, ext. 3109.  Click here to access the plan: https://5il.co/2gnzw
