Congratulations, everyone! You make South Side proud! 🖤🤍🖤

The conference brought together students in grades 5–12 who are asking scientific questions, designing original research projects, and beginning to see themselves as scientists for the very first time. Their teachers guided them through challenging, time-intensive, and deeply transformative work — the kind of learning that inspires future innovators and researchers.
We are especially proud of our three student presenters this year:
Eva Horvátová — Wood Breakage
Caden Cusato — Corrosion Inhibitors
Nolan English — Shot-put Distance
Congratulations to Nolan, who received a $1,000 scholarship for first-time presenters, and to Caden, who earned a $1,200 scholarship for high school non-senior presenters!
We are incredibly proud of all of our students for representing South Side with excellence, curiosity, and professionalism. Great job, Rams!

Jake joined top performers from across Pennsylvania for several days of rehearsals and masterclasses, culminating in an outstanding concert! We are so proud of your hard work and dedication!

Recently, the South Side Choir opened the Pirates game by singing the National Anthem! What a great way to start a game! Catch them Next week on Tuesday, May 5th, for their Spring Concert OUTDOORS and grab some grub!
Bring your favorite camp chair for parking lot seating - the kids will be singing at the main entrance of the MSHS building. Fifth grade starts at 6pm, MS at 6:30 pm, and HS at 7pm. Hope to see you there!
